You may have noticed a temporary track being laid across a field east of Kingston Lane (north of the Elm Avenue junction).  

Arun District Council have today provided the following information:

‘It is understood that this is a temporary trackway in preparation for works to existing electricity pylons, and that the trackway will be permanently removed from the site once the works have completed, which is likely to be a period of around a few week.  No breach of planning control has been identified.’
