Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II

Kingston Parish Council joins the nation in mourning the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.  The Chairman, Cllr Geraldine Walker, made this statement:

 “It is with great sadness that Kingston Parish Council learned of the death of our beloved Queen Elizabeth II. The longest reigning monarch in British history whose service will never be forgotten.  On behalf of the council and residents we offer our sincerest condolences to His Majesty King Charles III and the royal family at this sad time.

 May she rest in peace"

 An online book of condolence is available on Buckingham Palace’s website: www.royal.uk   until 20th September, 2022

 A physical book of condolence is available at the East Preston Parish Council Offices, 122 Sea Road, East Preston until the afternoon of Monday, 12th September when it will transfer to East Preston Library, and at St Mary the Virgin Church, Vicarage Lane, East Preston until 20th September, 2022

Floral tributes may be laid at St Mary the Virgin Church until 20th September, 2022. Please leave the flowers unwrapped.
